What's Included?

I use Faber Castell Polychromos and Caran d'Ache Luminance colour pencils which are acid-free and have high lightfastness, increasing the longevity of the artwork.

The paper is use is Strathmore 400 Series Vellum paper, also acid free and especially suited to coloured pencils.

The portraits come unmounted as standard, however, if you would like them mounted please let me know and I will happily give you a quote.

The portraits are wrapped in glassine paper when finished and posted in secure, recyclable packaging. UK shipping is free, please contact me for a quote on prices outwith the UK.

Pricing and Sizes

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking via bank transfer. There may be a wait list, so I will give you an estimated completion time when you enquire. If you have a specific date in mind let me know and I will do my best to accomodate this.

If you would like to recieve progress photos throughout the drawing process please let me know!

Once the portrait is complete I will send you preview photos so you can check everything. I offer minor adjustments at this stage if any changes are required to ensure you are completely happy with the artwork. Then the remaining 50% payment can be made and the portrait posted.

Reference Photos

I usually create my portraits from one main reference photo and use others to add detail and ensure specific markings are in place.

The best reference photos are usually taken in natural lighting, detailed, and should be the original image rather than a screenshot so the quality is not reduced. In memorial pieces I understand this may not always be possible, and every effort will be made to create the best likeness possible with the photographs available.

Booking Process

  • Contact/Photos

    Contact me via the booking form at the bottom of this page, or via laurensprintsuk@gmail.com. Please include the sizing, number of pets, and any timing requirements. I will email back confirming the details and request your reference photos!

    Let me know which photo you'd like to use as the main reference photo - if you're unsure I am happy to help you decide!

  • Photos/Deposit

    There is a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking, once paid I will give you an estimated wait time. I'll then let you know when I get started on your portrait!

    I will keep you updated throughout the process, and can send pictures of each stage if you would like to see!

  • Final Steps

    Once the portait is complete I will email pictures of the finished artwork. If any minor adjustments need to be made I will complete them at this stage to make sure your portrait is perfect! Then the remaining 50% can be paid and the portrait will be posted out to you.
